I’ve been making books since about 2005. After moving to Sacramento I decided I wanted to record my travel in sketchbooks. So I took ink drawing and watercolor classes at City College. Then I learned how to make my own sketchbooks. And I found that SCTA hosted a book arts program. I’ve been a member since then. I’m still traveling at every opportunity and making books today. But they tend to stay empty because what I love is the construction process itself. 

My other textile experiences include knitting, sewing, block printing, cyanotype printing and dyeing. Geometric drawing is my newest creative passion.
