Come join the Needle Arts Study Group on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the CLARA from 10:00am -1:00pm as we begin our annual group needlework project and share techniques and learn various needle art skills from our individual members. This study group is composed of members with talents in all things needle, fabric, yarn, thread and resources who enjoy sharing the knowledge and spirit, beginner to advanced!
We will begin with learning to construct fabric boxes. Basic materials include fabric, stiff interfacing, fusible web, and thread.
Bring what you have (if you have). Some will be provided. The plan is to have a primer on basic fabric box making during the March study meet, then complete the project with individual style and choice over time(months). Meanwhile, members will be introduced to or review other needlework skills and techniques by various group members. Enrichment, education, inspiration with like-minded enthusiasts awaits.
Remember, I need a headcount. Please RSVP using the following link:
The meeting is Free for SCTA Members.
If you care to bring a friend (non-member), their first visit is complimentary.
Non-member class fees are 10.00 after their first visit.
